Do I Have 1:1 Laptop, Textbook, or Library Obligations?

Students can see their own checkouts and fines in Destiny for library books, textbooks, and 1:1 laptops. Log into Destiny through the VPortal and follow the instructions on the screen to see what you still owe. If you have the book or device to return, you do not owe the fine.

  1. Library Resources, Destiny Discover, My Stuff…
  2. Check the V21 number of their laptop to the one in Destiny system
  3. Any fines can be paid in media

How Do I Pay For a Library or Textbook?

To make a payment for a lost or damaged book or laptop, follow the instructions above to make an online payment. choose LOST LIBRARY BOOKS or  LOST TEXTBOOKS. Enter the dollar amount you found listed in Destiny and put the specifics about what you are paying for in the description. When you are done, you can send an email to Ms. Danese at mdanese@volusia.k12.fl.us to confirm that she removed your obligation from inside Destiny, but the online payment system will send her an email as well and you will see Destiny updated within 24 hours. If you are paying with cash or check, come to the media center during normal hours. 

How Do I Pay For a 1:1 Laptop Fine or Charger?

To make a payment for a lost or damaged laptop, follow the instructions above to make an online payment. choose STUDENT 1:1 DEVICE REPAIR FEES. Enter the dollar amount you are paying for in the description (partial payments are ok, just indicate that you are doing so in the description). When you are done, you can send an email to Ms. Danese at mdanese@volusia.k12.fl.us to confirm that she removed your obligation from inside Destiny, but the online payment system will send her an email as well and you will see Destiny updated within 24 hours. If you are paying with cash or check, come to the media center during normal hours.
