Good Morning!

TODAY IS AN EARLY RELEASE WEDNESDAY!!

Welcome to our students, faculty, and guests on campus today and remember to “Be Aware, Be Kind, and Be the face of Good.”

  **GENERAL**

Student IDs – Remember to have you ID accessible to be shown when asked. You must have an ID to show when you enter campus.  Those students without IDs will be asked to report to the activity’s office located in guidance to acquire an ID.  IDs are for campus safety and ALL students are required to have a 2023-2024 School ID on their person daily while on campus.  Replacement IDs are $5.

 Every student will need to bring a fully charged laptop to school this year.  Forms can be found in the media center and on SHS website.  Forms must be signed by your parent/guardian and with their driver’s license number listed.  You can check a laptop out in media center during lunch. 

 School Way Café will serve meals (breakfast and lunch) to all students at no charge. Free, free, free

Attention all juniors interested in competing for Mr. & Miss Seabreeze. If you have not picked up your application, please do so today in Mrs. Oberst’s office. We will have our first meeting for all interested juniors in the main office on December 6th at lunch. Hope to see you there!

We have an in-school boys’ basketball game against Creek at 2:00PM on Wednesday December 6th.  In order to attend students must have no referrals for the month of November.   The wristbands will be passed out to students beginning Monday morning, December 4th through Wednesday afternoon on December 6th. DO NOT WAIT to get your wristband!!!.   Come to the courtyard in front of guidance or the activities office before school and at lunch to get your wristband.  

 **SENIORS**

Daytona State College will be on campus, Friday December 8 during the school day helping all seniors apply and get accepted to DSC on the spot.  Please sign up in Guidance to sign up

Grad Bash is coming up in the new year and tickets are now on sale under the purchase and pay option or in person.  It would be a great Christmas Gift.  See Mrs. Savary in Activities for more information.  

** SPORTS**

Boys Soccer is home tonight at the Ormond Beach Sports Complex against Seminole High School. IT is also Senior Night.  Games start at 5 pm.

**CLUB/ORGANIZATIONS**

Academic Team will meet Thursday at lunch in Ms. Kepner’s room, 9-007

 Instrumental Music Concert will be at 7:00pm on December 14th in the Seabreeze Auditorium. Admission is a suggested $5.00 Donation per person and $10.00 for a family.  Please come and enjoy a wonderful evening of holiday music.

Anastasia the musical auditions are today and tomorrow, November 29th, and 30th!  More of a dancer than singer?  Please join us!! More of an actor than dancer, come to the audition!  Singers?!  All are welcome.  For more information, please visit our website!

 Students and Teachers, The LEO Club will be collecting toys for Shands Hospital until the winter break.  Please consider giving an unwrapped toy for the children at Shands’.  A Collection box is located in Guidance.

 Attention students!  National Honor Society students will be tutoring any subject on Wednesdays during lunch in the media center.  Tutoring for any subject as well as SAT prep. If you need help, come during lunch.

 **SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENTS **
First United Methodist Church, Ormond Beach is providing lunch each Tuesday for only $5.00. This is for Juniors and seniors only with off campus lunch privileges.  Their Address is 336 S Halifax Drive.

Help support one of our AICE travel and Tourism Event while having someone wonderful food. 

Every Thursday in November and December, Peppers Restaurant will give part of the evening’s food purchase back to Seabreeze towards this AICE event. 

Enjoy local food while giving back.
