More information may be found at the Official NHS Website.
*To be considered under
character, a student's current
year discipline record will be
reviewed by a faculty council
before induction. This council,
consisting of five teacher
members, will decide if a
referral on record warrants
dismissal and/or approval of
membership. Referrals are
individually examined based on
the student and the benchmarks
of NHS.
**Failure to maintain any of the
above requirements will result
in one grading period of
probationary status, and a
subsequent review of membership
before an individual's
membership is rescinded.
Discipline referrals, upon the
decision of the principal and/or
faculty council, may result in
immediate dismissal without
probationary warning. Members
who resign or are dismissed
are not eligible to re-apply
for membership.
