So What Do You Do In DT?

In all Dance Technique classes, daily participation is a must! When the bell rings students will dress, stretch and start on that days activity.

 

Dance Technique 1:

In Dance Technique 1, you'll learn many routines of different dance styles, including Military, Jazz, Ballet Technique, Lyrical, Modern, and Hip Hop. Also you'll learn Dance Terminology such as pirouettes or attitudes. This is a beginners class but necessary to  move up into the advanced levels. 1/2 Credit

 

Dance Technique 2:

Dance Technique 2 is a continuation of DT 1. You'll learn more difficult skills and be tested on  more vocabulary. You will participate in shows being held that include the Majorettes, Sensations, and Illusions. 1/2 Credit

 

Dance Technique 3:

In Dance Technique 3, you'll be learning more difficult routines and skills. Also students will learn about Theatre dance styles, and student choreography. In this class you'll also be participating in shows with the Auxiliaries. 1 Credit

 

Dance Technique 4:

Our highest level of dance offered, involves advanced skills and routines. Again, must participate in shows. 1 Credit
