What is FBA?
The Future Builders of America is a "nonprofit workforce and leadership program
of the Florida Home Builders Association." This website will give you more
insight on the Future Builders of America and show that building and
construction is a very important factor in the environment. As well as
concentrating on the programs and activities FBA has to offer to students in
Florida.
What's its purpose?
FBA helps link students to the building community and provide
opportunities for summer and post-graduation employment help. Here in FBA, we
strive toward the goal of exposing club members to the various trades that are
active in building homes such as electricity, plumbing or pipefitting, masonry,
concrete work, roofing, tile work, framing, trim carpentry, heating and air
conditioning, title work and finance, and kitchen cabinetry.
What's interesting?
In attempts to achieve interest, we will have a variety of speakers,
field trips, and projects that will be used to further the students knowledge on the building and
constructing aspects for future careers.
How can you join?
It is simple! Just visit the
Future
Builders of America webpage where member applications, chapter
outlines, donor applications, and scholarship applications are available. Any
questions about the scholarship program can be e-mailed to
