Course Description: Through the study of psychology, students acquire an understanding of and appreciation for human behavior, behavior interaction and the progressive development of individuals.

Course Content:


District Grading Scale:
    A  90-100%
    B  80-89%
    C  70-79%
    D  60-69%
    F  0-59%

Classroom Rules:

Student Evaluation:
Class work/activities    50%
Homework/projects     10%
Quizzes                        30%
Final Exam                   10%

Materials Required for class:
pens, pencils, 3-ringed notebook with pockets, loose-leaf paper, Internet sticker, computer disk

Behavior Management:


Make-up policy:
Students will be expected to find out what assignments they missed the day they return.  All make-up work must be completed and returned in within (5) school days to receive full credit.  25% will be deducted for any assignments turned in late.

Textbook:
Psychology and You,   McMahon & Ramono
All students will be issued a textbook that they can keep at home.
