Homework Request Procedure

In order to request make up work due to a lengthy absence please contact Guidance at 386-258-4674 ext. 54606. Please allow two (2) business days for full collection of work from the teachers. Upon receipt of any or all work you will be contacted and advised that it is ready for pick up. Any work unclaimed becomes the responsibility of the student to get with his/her teacher(s). Guidance is not responsible for any missed work/assignments.

Counselor

Ms. Rizzo earned a B.S. from the University of Florida in Elementary Ed. and her M.A. from The Citadel in Charleston, S.C. in Counselor Education.

ParentPortal, a tool designed to enhance the communication and involvement of parents in their child's education in Volusia County Schools. Tutoring is available on Monday’s in the Media Center from 3-3:45pm

Parents and Students can Get Involved!

Below are the two of the forms needed for students and parents to volunteer. For much more information on opportunities and additional forms, please visit the volunteer page.

• VIPS Parent Volunteer form (all parents must be approved by VCS)Youth Volunteer

• Youth Volunteer Hours Log (an addtl sponsor form is required also)

There are also an abundance of Clubs and Organizations that students may investigate on Club Rush day. It is held September 6th, during lunch.
